The story behind Seros

The roots of Seros reach back to 1968, when Rudy Campbell and Bob Schoneberger founded Campbell Schoneberger & Associates. Each brought a distinct strength to the business, and together they built a firm grounded in service, wisdom, and care for the people they served.

Rudy’s commitment to community service was shaped by personal loss and an act of generosity he never forgot. As a teenager, after both of his parents were killed in a car accident, he and his younger brother received an anonymous gift that covered the funeral expenses. That act of kindness left a lifelong mark and shaped Rudy’s belief that service to others matters deeply.

Bob was known for his ability to create thoughtful plans and strategies that helped clients prosper. Personable, respected, and committed to continual learning, he left a lasting impression on the people he served and the firm he helped build.

In 2011, when Campbell Schoneberger & Associates joined Alliance Financial Group, Seros Wealth Partners was born. That legacy still influences our work today, and we are honored to carry it forward.

Why we chose the name Seros

Seros is rooted in the Latin word sero, meaning to plant or to grow. That meaning reflects the kind of work Rudy Campbell and Bob Schoneberger set in motion decades ago through thoughtful guidance, long-term relationships, and a deep commitment to serving others well.

From the beginning, the foundation of the firm was never just financial strategy. It was helping people build something lasting with care, patience, and intention. In that sense, the name Seros carries forward both where we began and the way we continue to serve today.

We believe meaningful financial progress is not built overnight, but through steady guidance and a long-term commitment to what matters most. Just as growth requires care, time, and the right conditions, so does building a financial life that can support the future you actually want.
